Marfa Desert | Fragrance Oil

Sunset breaking open over the high desert outside Marfa, the whole sky burning orange and rose as the sun sinks toward the far line of the horizon. Marfa Desert opens dry and resinous, sun-dried sage and desert pepper crackling against the parched bite of piñon pine. The heart smolders warm and earthy, creosote resin and sun-baked oak rising with a wild green thread of khella. It settles into the cooling air, warm desert sand laced with drifting mesquite smoke and dry shrub resin, the kind of scent that feels like the whole sky on fire over an endless valley, austere and wild and utterly still.
